Dr Abels is knowledgeable and caring. At first appointment with herShe found a med id been on for over a year was causing my cough. And id been to many other doctors throughout the past year for the cough. She removed that med and replaced it with another that is working well for me. She has also given me the resources to get healthier and stay healthy. Knowing that someone really cares makes me feel like taking care of myself, if that makes sense.

As I previously stated, she actually listens. I know my body well, I have to. I have had too many bad experiences with doctors who didn't. She is refreshing in that she understands and works with me for the best possible outcome.

Dr Abels is understandably very busy. But I do know, if I have an acute problem, and need to be seen sooner, there are others there to see patients when needed. Perfect system!

She is the only doctor that I know will do what is needed to treat my illness. It is too bad that she is so busy and sometimes I have to have a different doctor. I have was always had good treatment with the on call doctors.
