I remain impressed by the balance between:
* his kindhearted concern for my well-being and comfort,
* his very focused medical acumen in clearing up and responding to my questions,
* and finally his decisiveness in "closing the book" on my medical problem, "This is over. We're moving on."
This helped me to flip a switch in my own thinking and to start looking at myself in a new light, as a healthy
/normal person for a change.
