Whenever the name Hackensack is attached to a structure you can rest assured you will be treated with the utmost respect and knowledge. I really hope this never changes because I truly would not know where to go to get the proper most current care around. I live in Staten Island and most of my doctors are connected to Hackensack.

Dr. Ryerson is very thorough. She takes time to listen to my concerns and responds thoughtfully. She reviews my medical history and any upcoming medical or anything that she could foresee. I believe she spends enough time with me as a patient. She's interested in me as the full 360 person, not just, it doesn't feel just in and out like she's just there to answer a few questions and go. And I really appreciate that.

Experiencing billing issues right now where the claim from Aetna is not matching your bill for PT. I cancelled all PT appointments. If this continues I will seek care away from the HMH network for the he majority of my healthcare needs.

I found Dr. Lana Ryerson an outstanding physician and provider. She has a wealth of knowledge. She is very thorough and very professional and I would absolutely recommend her without... to anyone without any reservation. She is just an outstanding physician and again, I would recommend her to whomever is in need of a physician regarding multiple sclerosis. Thank you.

It was wonderful to meet her. She spent enough time with me addressing any concerns I had. I did not feel rushed. The staff is very welcoming as well.

It was my first time visiting Dr. Ryerson. I had heard such good things about her. That's why I decided to go to her. I was very happy and pleased with her. She was very professional, answered questions. We talked and everything. I do like her and I would recommend her to somebody, but I do like her. I enjoyed my visit with her.

Dr Ryerson is a fantastic provider of care in her specialty. I recently had 2 MRIs at The hospital I didn't have time to praise the technicians at the time but now I have. Everyone I met with in my care has been wonderful.

Of the four MS neurologists I have had over 20 years, Dr. Ryerson is by far the best I have experienced. She is remarkably thorough, knowledgeable, and interested in helping me with my condition. She explained things in depth and included me in considering "what next" options. She showed concern for managing my pain and other confusing symptoms. I wish that all my doctors could take a page out of the Ryerson playbook.
