She's very caring she explains stuff well to you so you understand it and she gives you good recommendations about what's coming next and she's keeping a very good eye on my tumors she's very professional very caring she takes her job serious she does everything she can to treat you in a manner that not too many doctors I like that I don't know what I would do without her I'm glad I got her for my doctor

Unlike the previous visit where Dr Lai spent less than 3 minutes with me( I noted the time on my cellphone), Dr Lai sat down and we both discussed the concerns of my health. I told her of my fears of undergoing surgery --not needed at present-- while Dr Lai admitted that my age might seriously affect whether a surgeon would even take me on as a patient. She discussed alternative measures which were less intrusive. Dr Lai LISTENED to me and that's important to me.

Dr. Lai quite literally saved my life. From the very beginning, she treated me with compassion, respect, and an incredible level of expertise. Facing a serious illness is one of the most difficult experiences a person can go through, but Dr. Lai always took the time to explain my treatment and answer my questions.
Throughout my journey, I never felt like just another patient. Dr. Lai genuinely cared about my health, my family, and my future. Her knowledge, dedication, and attention to detail gave me hope during some very challenging times.
I also discovered that she has a wonderful sense of humor, which helped put me at ease and made every visit a little easier. That personal connection meant a great deal during a difficult chapter of my life.
Thanks to Dr. Lai and the outstanding team she assembled, I am here today. I will always be grateful for the care I received and cannot recommend her highly enough.

Dr. Lai was very thorough and informative. I’ve had two oncologists before her and she told me more about my health than the prior two ever did. She asked a lot of questions and allowed me to ask questions as well.
