Extremely positive experience with Dr. Kirou! He was exceptionally kind, thorough and highly organized in his approach. He carefully reviewed all of the test results and lab values beforehand, then started by asking many detailed questions. He went through lab result with us, cross-checking each one against the patient's medication history and explaining his reasoning based on the data rather than assumptions. HSS also went above and beyond what we had asked for, as the hospital arranged for a Chinese interpreter to assist with medical terms during the visit, and had our Chinese liver biopsy reports sent to the hospital's professional translation department for official translation. This is exactly how patient care should be—taking the time to thoroughly understand each patient's individual situation instead of applying the same one-size-fits-all approach to everyone.
