Dr Schuebel was great. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the lab that was backed up and I had to wait 30 minutes in for a blood draw.

Dr. Schuebel is not only extremely detailed and professional, but somebody you would want to hang out with outside of the office. His medical knowledge is matched with his ability to connect with his patients. He would be an fantastic mentor to others entering the field.

Dr. Schuebel is always friendly and treats you with respect. He knows your history and discusses what if any follow up my be needed with your input. Assistant Dana was also pleasant and helpful.

He is always friendly and answers all my questions. I have been under his eye care for many years and I feel very confident I am receiving the best of care from him. He is very knowledgeable and explains things well. It is evident that he truly cares about his patients and their eyesight!

My only concern is that the dept at SSM West always seems to be short staffed (no matter what time of year) and technicians seem rushed. Dr Schuebel copes with this extremely well; the staff less so.

I had a very positive 30 year history with Dr Kornaus prior to his retirement. Dr Schuebel made the transition to a new optometrist easy and gained my trust immediately. I feel lucky to have him as my eye care provider.
