I would like to take a moment regarding my "child" having to sign for me to have consent to view her MyChart. My child is 12. Showing up for an appointment I scheduled and I pay for and then having to have my child complete and sign a consent form so I can view her mychart. And also having to go in the hallway while this is discussed with my child. I'm not sure what Mercy One/Trinity is trying to accomplish but this feels very wrong. If I didn't love Dr. Avery so much I would be leaving.

We love Dr. Avery. I love how patient-centered she is when providing care. She is always sitting alongside my daughter (not hovering over) and communicates directly with her when asking questions and sharing information. My kids know how much she values their thoughts and opinions regarding their health. That being said, as a parent I have never walked out without all of my questions, concerns, and feedback relayed and addressed.

We love our Clear Lake Peds Clinic! Dr. Avery and Dr. Lage have always provided wonderful support to both the children and the parents.
