She gives you the time to explain your medical issues, then takes time to discuss each one.then she gives you her medical opinion regarding medication, referrals, return visits and reasons for each one. When you leave her you feel relieved and taken care of.Most Doctors shake your hand Stare at the computer hand you a prescription and out the door leaving you confused, unsatisfied and not wanting to return. She is GREAT.

Dr. Mcfarland was excellent all around. She took great care to go through my history thoroughly and too the time to make sure I communicated all I needed to. I would highly recommend her as a primary care physician. All doctors need to be like her!

I have been seeing dr McFarland for many years. I find her to be very caring and involved in my care. I am now a widowed grandmother who has cared for and raised my twin grandchildren since birth. They are now seniors in high school. In my many years of life l have never had or known a medical person who looks at me like a family member and with an interest in what I have to say and really cares. She has been a blessing to me in my time of need and is a loving asset to the University of Tennnessee medical team.
