What could have been done to improve your experience?
The time waiting after appointment time until appointment starts is always frustrating because like most of us I have too much to do and not enough time to get things done. I was nervous to switch gears and snswerbrnails or anything because I didn’t want to lose the telehealth connection.

Was there anything that you feel was outstanding?
Dr. Kovaleva spent as much time as was necessary. She listened very closely to what I said and responded with detailed explanations and even added some physical "tests" (push, pull strength, finger/hand/arm/leg strength, etc) based on my medical history. She even spent time helping me find an appropriate brace for my ulner nerve issue.
What could have been done to improve your experience?
It was one of the best, if not the best, doctor appointments I've had all year.

Dr. K is hands-down the best physician I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. She is VERY informative and offered options. She values my feelings towards treatment options. She took a concern I had from a visit previously (not with her) & she was genuinely concerned. She was going to address it. The Botox injections did not hurt this time. Adore her! Heather was amazing and very friendly. She was very thorough.

Dr. K takes the time to explain things in detail and make sure you understand your treatment options. She is always willing to make sure your questions are asked before leaving the appointment.

She was really great. Took the time to answer all my questions. Asked good questions too. Very nice and helpful. I am glad I got to see that doctor, a lot of my worries were gone after talking to her. Will most definitely recommend her to anyone that needs neurology care!

Dr. K spent time to explain my condition and treatment. It was nice to have a doctor who genuinely cared about their patient. I went into the appointment very nervous due to having two unprovoked seizures. Dr. K put not only me but my family at ease. She took time to listen to everyone’s concerns and answered the questions throughly. Staff was kind and caring. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. K and her staff. I am extremely thankful she is the neurologist I ended up seeing.

All staff was courteous, friendly, and helped me in a timely manner. Instructions were clear and concise and I’d recommend Neurology Associates to anyone who needed their care.

I love every encounter with Dr K. The appointments are never rushed and she answers every question and listens to all my concerns.

Dr K was a breath of fresh air for us! My husband has a complicated medical history and is currently going through a lot. Dr K spent about 1/2 hour with us, seated, and treated us like we were the only patient she had. She asked all the important questions, listened to both of our concerns, made eye contact with both of us, and provided us with the best answers we could have expected. We have seen many doctors in the last two years both in and out of hospital stays. I know that this is a challenging time for the medical community with all of us Baby Boomers aging and creating an overwhelming patient load. We still need care and compassion. Dr K should be teaching what excellent care looks like, she did all the right things! The staff in the office was also caring and compassionate, thank you!

Dr. Kovaleva is an excellent doctor. We need more doctors like her. She listens to you, ask questions about your symptoms, explains everything well, and discusses medicine options.. Also she goes slowly on giving you medicine instead of just pushing a bunch of pills at you. She really tries to figure out the root cause of the problem and help you to feel better.
