Well for one, for a man to know he was told you no longer have a job and has 90 days to get his affairs in order and then still keep my appointment and walk thru the door to tell me face to face what has has been done says something about the the type of person he is.

Where he goes, b/c some fool decided to shut down the clinic, I go and will send others to him and point them away from Fransiscan.

I have worked with many doctors and surgeons and Dr. K’s bedside manner is exceptional. Every encounter has been positive and he treats his patients and their family with respect and we have never felt rushed.

We felt Dr. Koivuniemi is a very competent doctor. He analyzed the problems and gave solutions. He also explained why he is suggesting one solution over another. We liked his direct approach without wasting time. He came in the room after checking our reports etc so he knew exactly what we are talking about.

Dr. K was amazing! He explained my diagnosis and his recommendation clearly. Most importantly, his office called me THREE times before my actual appointment to make sure that my pain was controlled. That's almost unbelievable!!!!

Again he talks to me not with his back to me looking or typing on the computer. He tells me what he finds and why he is using a certain plan. He is certain that we are in agreement and that I understand what is going to be done. He is fantastic. The best doctor in listening and telling me what and why he is doing what he had discussed.

Dr. K was very kind and compassionate during my visit. He spoke to me in layman's terms, explaining the diagnosis and prognosis in a very thorough and understandable way. He listened to my concerns and addressed them with a knowledge that put me at ease. I feel confident in his care.
