Entire staff from check-in to nurses to doctors is OUTSTANDING.

I arrived 15min early as asked. I sat in the room for 2hours before the Dr. actually saw me. I don't know exactly why he was so late but it would have been nice if someone could have been more respectful of my time. I had a 4 hour drive home. I wasn't mad but you asked.

The appointment itself was great, I did have to wait about 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time to see the MD. I have left the surgery scheduler 2 voicemails with no response so I am anxious about getting the procedure scheduled for a few days from now and there being enough time for the insurance precert to be obtained.

The otaryngology department...specifically Dr. Withrow and Dr. [ ] have performed miracles for my husband. We are very blessed to have been sent to them.

The rooms were extremely hot & the staff made me feel as if I didn't matter to them as all they kept saying in the hallway was hurry so we can get out of here, we're down to the last few.

It was my first visit to the UAB and I was extremely impressed. Everything was so organized and made so easy. I was amazed at not having to fill out a ton of paperwork, the professionalism of the staff, and the result of my appointment with Dr. Withrow. I have been searching for 25 years for help and he gave me so much hope for a solution. I will be moving all my Healthcare to UAB in the future. Thank you.

I have been under Dr. Withrow's care for ten years. I was diagnosed with throat cancer approx. ten years ago. He initially identified my problem, was instrumental in my treatment program and has followed me ever since. He saved my life.

The staff was friendly, courteous and the wait time to be seen was short. The medical staff took time to explain information in layman’s terms and allowed time for follow up questions. I felt extremely confident in making my healthcare decisions after my visit with the medical staff.

Horrible experience. After 3 hours of waiting, never saw Dr Winthrow. Asked several staff why it was taking so long. Staff said they would check but I never heard back from any of them. I ended up having to leave due to a work emergency.

Both Drs were smart, engaged, concerned and are actively looking for solutions. I've seen other ENT's who have not taken my issues seriously. These Doc do. Thanks!!

I had to wait 30 minutes past my appointment time—-doctor and all others were very nice and took time to answer any questions that I had. They were very informative. Will call them again if I have a need
