I spent most of the time with the nurse, who was very knowledgeable and has been following my case. When the surgeon came in, he reinforced some things the nurse told me and expressed a positive evaluation of the surgery and my progress in healing.

[staff] provided a step by step description of my upcoming TAVR procedure. He answered all my questions and discussed any change of plan that might occur. His caring attitude put me at ease regarding my up comingcare. Dr Ahmet Kilic followed [staff] and discussed what I should expect going forward and asked If I had any further questions or concerns.

Dr. Kilic was one of two cardiologists I saw during this visit as part of Johns Hopkins team approach. I appreciate the thorough approach, though due to my age I was not really a candidate for the surgery that Dr. Kilic would perform. So the visit was short confirming I was not a candidate.

Dr, Kilic explained the procedure I would be having in great detail. He listened when I had a question or something to say. He made me feel confident about my upcoming procedure, and provided me with information concerning any symptoms I would need to make him aware if they should occur prior to my surgery date. Dr. Kilic seems to be an amazing doctor.

As a consequence of the pericardiectomy performed by Dr Kilic and his team, my quality of life has been given back to me after 2+ years of a declining quality of life. I greatly appreciate Dr Kilic's team and results so far - I am very thankful.

Dr. Kilic was very patient and respectful throughout the entire process (surgery and post-op). I had to have emergency open heart surgery, I was not prepared for what I had to go through. I spoke with many doctors and Dr. Kilic was one of few that took time to explain what was happening why I needed the procedure and what to generally expect during and after surgery. Prior to surgery I never had any major health issues or procedures. Dr. Kilic's patience and attention to detail put me and my family at ease. I am extremely grateful he was my surgeon.
