I realize that my treatment is a team effort. Staying alive at my age is my #1 objective. Therefore I choose to go with the best qualified team to insure that I will be around for my Granddaughters (3) weddings.

There are side effects to taking cholesterol medication such as increased risk of diabetes since it is a statin, correct? I feel that I need to know the pros and cons of it, which weren't included in the packet of information that I was given.

This was my first encounter with Dr. Khan, and it might be the most positive doctor appointment I've ever had! He was friendly, incredibly encouraging, listened to what I had to say, and answered my multitude of questions.
