Great Doctor, personable, professional and bedside manner is top notch (!) and was also very kind to my aging father who I'm sure tested his patience.

I didn't find the nurse kind and I felt like I was a burden in her day. The doctor didn't seem through. Lots of talking, with little to no symptom checking. I anticipated more things like I've encountered with our pediatrician and my personal doc.

I have seen Dr. Hanigan for several years. He is always very professional and shows a genuine interest in not only my health, but in what I've been doing. When the Mercy Clinic in Urbandale closed and I was faced with making a choice as to where I was going to go for future treatments, I chose Ankeny because of Dr. Hanigan, even though the Ankeny clinic is not the closest to my home.

Dr Hanigan listens. He takes in consideration my feelings on my treatment. If I am not comfortable with the treatment suggested he is willing to suggest other options that best suits me. He is willing to listen to understand his patients.

Told my mother I was worried about her memory/cognitive abilities instead of just testing her as requested. This upset her greatly and wasn’t necessary and turned her against me.

I know Dr H is a busy man, many patient to see. I would like more time, but he's needed elsewhere. I understand that. He listens. He's understanding.

Nothing was resolved and no one called with results. i’m not a physician. I’m not a nurse. Not everyone has the ability to read information online. Especially senior citizens.
