Dr. Kelly explained that I had mostly recovered from my back pain on my own. We talked about the pluses and minuses of epidurals, including with anesthesia, and he asked me to send him a CD of my NYU MRI.

Dr Kelly was absolutely superb. He took the time to take me through prior imaging and present imaging to explain my symptoms and how much my spine is now compressed. He explained everything we were looking at in a manner I could easily understand. He was thorough in what to expect with surgery. He was affable and I felt completely at ease instantly. He has gained my trust and although, I am apprehensive about surgery I am confident Dr Kelly is the right guy for me.

I was devastated when my insurance changed and I could no longer see Dr [last name]. His office recommended Dr Kelly. I was thrilled that the level of care did not seem to diminish. I was very impressed with how well Dr Kelly explained everything to me. I could not be more satisfied with my first visit.

A thorough, caring and skilled physician. My wife and I are very glad he is our physician. He is patient and takes time to explain his diagnoses and treatment plan with clarity. His assistant is excellent too. We have nothing but praise for Dr. MICHAEL Kelly and his staff.

I was very happy with the outcome of my surgery. Although it was painful I am amazed with the results. I can feel the ground the neuropathy in my feet and hands is lessened and my left knee doesn't hurt anymore. It was suggested that I have a total knee replacement !!!

I saw Dr. M. Kelly for the first time to get a second opinion on my back problem. He was very patient, thorough, knowledgeable and compassionate. He spent a good 20 minutes with and he offered me additional advice and resources on how to proceed with my treatment.
Overall, I was very pleased with his care.

I am began my Dermatologic Surgery practice in 1975. I have formed many relationships with doctors through the years. Dr Michael Kelly is one of the most intelligent, compassionate and caring doctors I have ever met. He took the time to listen, evaluate and then explain his findings with me. So I wouldn’t have to travel over ninety minutes Dr Kelly called me to review the results of my CT Scan, and discuss my options at length. He cares about his patients like no other doctor I have ever met. With a five being the highest good review I give Dr Kelly a ten! If you are looking for a spine surgeon it’s my honor to recommend Dr Michael Kelly!

Dr. Kelly went above and beyond to explain everything clearly and created an environment where I felt completely comfortable and safe. He took the time to walk me through the details of my condition, breaking down complex medical information in a way that was easy to understand without ever oversimplifying it. His depth of knowledge was immediately evident — he not only explained the “what,” but also the “why” behind every recommendation.
As an athlete, I was especially impressed by his understanding of performance demands, recovery timelines, and injury prevention. He was able to connect medical expertise with real-world athletic application, which gave me tremendous confidence in his guidance.
