I had originally requested to see a medical doctor and when I got to my appointment, I was seeing a nurse practitioner. The practitioner seemed more interested in scheduling me for an unnecessary mammogram than listening for the reason that I was there. It felt rushed and I did not feel heard. I left feeling pressured into a procedure. I did not want with no other option along with an unnecessary preventative screening.

I could hear someone else checking in including their medical history. The person who went through intake after me was visited by the doctor before me leading to my visit being 30min behind the scheduled time. Doctor was rushed.

I pre-registeted. There was staff to direct me immediately upon my arrival. I waited less than 5 minutes before I was taken to an exam room. The provider allowed me time to undress but they were there with less than 10 minutes.

The Hoover location is easy to get to, the parking is great, and the appointments never take long. The staff is very nice and knowledgeable.

The visit summary is inaccurate as there was no discussion/handout about BMI, weight,etc. I complained of pain on my lower left side. An ultrasound was ordered after I had tried for 3 days to schedule prior to appointment. Appointment is now scheduled for 3/13. Total time with provider was less than 10 minutes so there was hardly any conversation about anything.

The doctor was very Impersonal , talked very fast didn’t listen to what I had to say and disregarded most of my concerns with a 11 year issue that I’ve been having. She had her own impression and her mind made up on what might be wrong with me without throughly LISTENING to my concerns. I’ve since decided to seek a second opinion and search for a new gyn physician where I feel my concerns and opinions about my health really matter and they want to help resolve my health issue
