Dr Beekman is an outstanding physician. She takes time to explain words or concepts that I may not understand. She is compassionate and has such a wonderful, calming presence. No one wants cancer but I was really blessed to receive her as my primary oncologist. Over the 9 years I have never felt like I was rushed out of her office or inconsequential.

Dr. Beekman has been my oncologist for ten years, through some of the most serious, frightening and challenging experiences of my life. I probably now owe my life to her. Throughout it all, her expertise and knowledge have been absolutely the latest/best/most successful, and she has always spoken and explained things to me, including answering my many questions with patience and respect…and in truthful ways that have reassured me and calmed my fears. She is an incredibly wonderful person and an extraordinarily excellent physician!!

I had sent a mychart message to Dr. Beekman regarding wanting to stop a med. Her staff followed up with a call. Later i was cantacted that Dr.B wanted a video call where she explained in more detail how the ned works and recommended staying on it.
