Friendly talks to you as a person needing help not an appointment she needed to get over. She came across as an actual Caring doctor wanting to help you feel better.

Dr. Burns always seems to be right up to speed with the latest available. Medications approaches to pain management and to choices and how to approach the surgery that she’s undertaking. I am very comfortable in her care and have come back after having had one shoulder replacement with her. I think she’s the best.

Dr Burns is always courteous and friendly. She will take as much time as is necessary to discuss your health issues and treatment options. I know that her main concern is to do whatever is necessary to provide me with good mobility. Dr Burns is an outstanding doctor and an excellent example of the outstanding care we received from SSM Health.

I had just had my 6 month follow up after right shoulder replacement and all went well. I could not thank her enough for all that she did for me. I can sleep at night without pain!

Dr Burns is the “Gold Standard” for shoulder surgery. A true professional in every regard. All PT’s that deal with her work without hesitation will tell you she is the best. My surgery has gone perfectly with zero pain from the minute I woke up from surgery until now. It all starts with a great Doctor and being a very special person to interact with. SSM is very fortunate to have Dr Burns on their staff.
