Dr. Thyssen is always helpful and knowledgeable. She explains everything in a way that I understand all of my options. She always listens to my health concerns and always follows up with me to make sure that my health needs are met.

When I saw the doctor in [ ] I got an immediate referral to a provider who could help me. My issue was personal and sensitive, and it was very easy to discuss at your clinic because trust had already been well established with my care givers. Sometimes I talk too much, and they are patient listeners who do engage.

Dr Thyssen is excellent in discussing your [ ] and always working to make sure that your medications are working as they should for you. She is patient and compassionate and really listens to what you have to say. She never seems to be in a hurry and takes all the time you need with her.

In all my 83 years of life, wherein I lived in five different states, Dr. Thyssen isTHE best primary care doctor I have ever had. She is outstanding, and so is her assistant nurse Emily.

Dr. Thyssen and staff are always professional, kind and courteous. I enjoy going to see Dr. Thyssen. In the past, I can’t say that I looked forward to a doctor visit. Now that Dr. Thyssen is my primary care provider, I look forward to, my appointments and talking with Dr. Thyssen.

Since I’ve been with Senior Care Plus I think I’ve had at least 3 physicians assigned to me. Dr. Thyssen is by far the best one I have seen and I truly feel that she has put my health and best interest as a priority when she sees me. I would be very sad if she were to ever leave.

Double scheduled me so I could be seen promptly. During exam explained each part to me and to a resident physician. Ordered labs to help determine cause of [ ]. Stayed in touch via her capable Medical Assistant.

Dr Takes time with you during appointments. She doesn't stick to 15 minute times as seems to be requirements with corperate insurance programs.

I am so privileged to have her as my doctor- for so many reasons. Makes you feel comfortable, heard, welcomed. She has so much knowledge in so many areas. More than some others I’ve visited. Visiting there is like “home.” Emily is an outstanding nurse and just as friendly.

Dr. Thyssen’s preparedness in chart review and medical history, comprehensive understanding of past and present medical conditions, and thoroughness of care planning and follow-through are literally unprecedented in my many years of receiving health care; and she does it all with such professional and human graciousness that words seem to fail me in trying to describe the excellence of her care.
