Yes, Dr. Lau-Loftin is an excellent physician. Her bedside manner is phenomenal. She is very knowledgeable, forthcoming, and willing to answer any and all questions. She's been my orthopedic hand surgeon for many years. Excellent choice. Her staff is also amazing. They are quick to respond to questions and issues.
Hand therapist, Angela [ ], is also an excellent hand therapist. She too is knowledgeable and answers questions asked. This experience with hand therapy this time has been 100% better than the initial meetings with them after surgery, previous times. Great improvements! Definitely recommend the UAB Highland's Hand Therapy Clinic!

The ortho clinic was great! I was seen quickly, the MA was personable and Dr Lau was thorough, professional and personable. It felt like she was genuinely concerned about me.

The doctor and hand therapists did really good jobs taking care of me. Dr Lau made sure my hands were looking healthy before I left and healing properly the stitch removal process went well thanks to the hand therapist I saw and everyone had really clean hands. I couldn't have asked for a better visit.

Dr Lau and Emily the OT hand therapist were both outstanding! Dr. Lau provides extensive information about your orthopedic hand issue. Dr. Lau is extremely personable and caring! She reviews and answer all questions! She takes a sound approach in her care plan Emily the OT reviewed the progress I had made on my broken hand and identified a brace and exercises I could complete to help with the issue Gave me more exercises to assist with strengthening my hand
