Dr. Walker is a magnificent physician and one of a kind who will be sorely missed within the community. She combines her wisdom and experience with real warmth and a true compassion for her patients. This is a difficult combination to find anymore. She is an excellent clincian, but what truly stands out is her humanity.

I can't say any more than she is one of the best doctors I have ever had. Tell her don't retire we need her. Hopefully she will refer me to someone just like her for the future.

Dr. Walker always makes you feel relaxed and comfortable and able to discuss anything. She is a master at making folks feel listened to, and heard as a person first and foremost, and as a patient as well. I will sorely miss her as she retires. there is never a sense of "corporate" here, but rather almost a "family" feel to interactions and relationships over time.

When I had a problem she sat there and figured out what medication would work the best for me. She was right! I've not had the medical issue because of her expertise.

Dr. Karen Walker is and has always been simply amazing. I've been a patient of hers for over 33 years -- pregnancies through menopause. I couldn't have asked for a better care advocate throughout all these years. As she prepares for retirement, I will miss her greatly and wish her total happiness in this next phase of life.

Dr. Walker is my most favorite doctor and I've been going to her for probably at least 35 years. She's carrying compassionate and listens.

Dr Walker really listens, cares and wants to help her patients. She is especially interested in helping older patients with issues of menopause which is not usually the specialty of most OB GYNs. Since she is retiring I’m hopeful that IHA will get someone else who also specializes in menopause treatment.

Karen Walker helped bring my babies into this world over 30 years ago and I've been going to her since! She is absolutely amazing! She always asks questions, listens to the answer and helps try to fix any problems. She is very kind, caring and just a beautiful person all the way around!
