Dr. Onel is an excellent communicator and a kind, empathetic physician. We saw her for a second opinion, and while she confirmed the previous diagnosis, we left with a much clearer understanding of both the condition and its prognosis. She listened carefully to our concerns, and I especially appreciated her sensitivity to how distressed my child was about her skin, and her prompt referral to a dermatologist. We were so impressed that we have decided to transfer my child’s care to Dr. Onel as her primary rheumatologist.

Dr Onel was fabulous. Spent a lot of time with us to explain things throughly. Brought us peace of mind even though we have a complicated case. She has given us confidence in our next steps and we are hopeful for a recovery. I have been recommending her to everyone I know - all of the doctors I’ve seen as well.

I thought Dr. Onel was fantastic! I was so appreciative of the time she gave us, allowing me to ask any and every question I had written down or thought of. I genuinely felt like she cared about our case and that she was giving a lot of thought into our appointment. I appreciated her compassion and kindness, above all!
