Totally professional experience! Welcoming office entrance - receptionist friendly and helpful. Short wait - called back at precise appointment time!! Dr Assistant very good re: eye tests, explained every step, friendly and most important knowledgeable. Dr. McCandless was beyond expectation in every category. I recommend him without any reservation.

from the entrance to the facility, everyone was knowledgeable and friendly and kind. The bathroom was very clean. the assistants were very nice and hellpful. Dr. McCandless is very professional and answered all my questions and assured me that my eyes were fine and even better than last year. There was no rushing me out of the office, he took his time.

Excellent visit. Very comprehensive exam for both a diabetic eye exam and a bad dry eye condition. Excellent therapy was started for dry eye that was worse than a previous ophthalmologist had treated.

Dr. McCandless is not only very personable, friendly, good listener and an overall great guy, he is most importantly, an excellent doctor. His knowledge and expertise is evident in the attention he has given me which has had a profound impact on the health of my eyes as well as improved vision. Totally trust his judgement, diagnosis and recommended treatment plan which for me has had fantastic results. The Wellish Vision institute is a top notch facility. It is aesthetically pleasant, clean, has a very friendly staff and appointments are pretty much on schedule with little wait time. I brag about this institute to everyone and highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for excellent eye care.

When practices consolidate it can affect the quality of the visit. In this case it clearly did not. The entire staff from check in to scheduling my next visit in 2026 was not just professional but everyone was kind. Dr. McCandless was the same. He answered my questions, discussed my health and spent more than an adequate amount of time in my examination. The office itself was spotless. I highly recommend this practice and Dr. McCandless in particular.
