Loved Dr Coleman. She explained everything so we could understand, answered our questions, and was very gentle in her manner.

They were all helpful kind and patient. They took time with you. Dr Coleman was very helpful. She explained everything took her time to explaining the process. She even got us connected to a speech therapist and my husband seems to be excited about this process.

Since my first visit to the Kirklin Clinic, there have been several things that have truly impressed me. First, the check in process is always very fast and efficient and the people at reception are always friendly. Second, I don't know that I've waited longer than 10 minutes for my appointment. Even though I arrive early, I'm still called back to a waiting room shortly after my arrival. And when I meet with the physicians, they never give me the feeling of being rushed through my appointment or that they are eager to move on to the next patient. Instead, they ask good questions and truly listen to my questions and provide helpful answers. Finally, if there is ever any follow up from the physicians, they do so extremely quickly, often by the end of the day. These things have been true for each visit, regardless of whom I am seeing. Thank you so much for your kindness, care, and professionalism.

Dr. Coleman was very helpful in answering questions about DBT. I appreciate her educating me on the process of what all is involved in preparing me for the therapy and informing me that Iā€™m the one who will be in control of when that process begins.

My time with the nurse and the doctor was great. The check-in and check-out process was not great as the staff at the desk had a lot going on.

Dr. Coleman completed the pieces of my Neurological puzzle using some new blood/plasma tests. Her sense of caring, ability to listen and observe, is amazing.

Yes, the 2 employees that you see at discharge to schedule appointments were the worst ever! I stood there for several minutes while they were having personal conversations and once I was acknowledged, they continued with ridiculous chit chat. If UAB trains employees on patient interaction- they missed that class. What a horrible representation of UAB. What happened to UAB customer service ? What an embarrassment! This was 2nd floor Neurology TKC

More people need to know about the value proposition of receiving care from a neurologist. My own experience in receiving care through the uab neurology clinic has been life changing.
