Dr. Garlinghouse listens, is thorough, congenial, friendly, professional. I've enjoyed meeting with him, and discussing a variety of health issues and needs. I would easily recommend him to others. Some others on staff seem to be in a hurry to get through procedures, spend more time looking at the computer than interacting with me. When I think I'm there for my health care, I would prefer staff to more deliberate, receptive. Being professional, in my opinion, in a health care environ includes relating to me as a person not a client. As to follow up after blood tests, I have not heard from a person but received an email. Once I tried to set an appointment for a specific pain and was told it would be two months out, or I could go to urgent care, which is 35 miles away. When Dr. Slater was the sole provider, I could get an appointment for a specific pain either that day or the next. I recognize the facility is busy, that's the nature of health care in a rural area.

Yes. Dr. Garlinghouse was very good at review my medical record and previous test results. He is my new primary physician . Very pleased

Dr. Garlinghouse is knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous. He takes the time to listen and explain things. The office staff is very good and can usually provide answers concerning appointments and test results in a timely manner. Test result are not always provided unless one checks the Mymichigan health portal. Sometimes you have to see the Doctor to have results explained.

Dr Garlinghouse has been amazing and very knowledgeable. I have multiple complex medical conditions so my care is difficult most of the time. He listens to my concerns and gets me the care I need. I’m very thankful for him and his staff!
