After flailing around for ten years from a pain management doctor to an orthopedist to a neurologist to a neurosurgeon to physical therapy to a rheumatologist to dry needling, in May I finally found Dr. Hung. He wanted all of my records before he agreed to she me and believing he could help me made an appointment. During that first meeting he was totally up to speed and no time was wasted…. after hearing my concerns about pain and limitations and also examining me ….to sharing his plan. He was respectful, warm and friendly, patient and confident . I finally have hope that I found the right doctor and will soon be able to return to my career of teaching soon.

Dr,Hung is very professional in his practice and expert at the procedures he conducts. The best part about it is he keeps communicating to patient about what exactly is performing. I left with very high regards for his disposition and knowledge of the pain management.

Dr. Hung is absolutely the best doctor I have ever had . If he moved to another part of the world I would follow him. He is honest and keeps you informed while performing the procedure. He always wants you to be comfortable and makes sure that you are. I call him Dr. Miracle because he always comes through for me when I am at my worst. Kudos also to his office manager, Bernadette. She is patient and a joy to talk to when questions arise. HSS is lucky to have them both and I am lucky to be his patient.

Dr. Hung is the most kind attentive doctor I have found in a long time . I live in New York and have to drive 90 minutes to see him but it is well worth my time.

The experience I had with Dr. Hung is phenomenal, he listen attentively and was available to prescribe the meds I needed for my severe back pain due to a 19mm herniating disc that was pressing on the sciatic nerve causing excruciating pain and Retrolisthesis. I am completely satisfied with his professionalism and empathy

Dr Joseph Hung is the absolute BEST !!! I trust no one else to perform my spine injections. He's not only knowledgeable and thorough, he's compassionate, soft-spoken, friendly, professional, understanding and explains everything that he's doing thru-out the procedure. Dr Hung is a true blessing and an outstanding testament to the HSS team and organization. We need more doctors with Dr Hung's "bedside manners" and thoroughness.

Dr. Hung is an amazing physician. He is compassionate and very bright. I have 200% confidence in him. He gave me spinal injections three years ago that are still working. He is accessible, thorough and answers all your questions. He is well prepared for the visit. He doesn’t just come into the exam room and say “How can I help you today?” He examines your chart and whatever work up you had and then discusses solutions. He is a wonderful doctor. I am quite lucky to have a group of doctors in whom I have total confidence, and Dr. Hung is at the top of that list.
