Dr. Anaya is a clear concise communicator. He is treating inflammation and clearly explained problem, he showed me retina scan and explained treatment protocol.

Dr Anaya arranged an immediate appointment for me when I reported a recent change in my vision. He was seeing me at the end of his busy practice day. When I was told that I would need to begin a series of injections to address a new "wet" macular degeneration condition, knowing that I had some apprehension, Dr. Anaya made an extra effort to find a way for me to receive the first injection while I was still in the clinic. This process extended his day well pass the closing time of the clinic.

Dr. Anaya spoke about my vision using words that were clear and a tone of voice that conveyed concern. He repeated that I need not go to the ER and could call If floaters. This is helpful when I was feeling a degree of panic over the major decline in vision in one eye.

Dr Anaya did the vitrectomy for my eye to close the macular hole on May 20 and I had the next day visit and one week post op visit. He was excellent, highly professional, thorough, considerate and caring. My eye surgery went well and within much shorter time than expected. The one week post op visit showed that the macular hole is now closed and my eye vision is steadily improving. He is an outstanding ophthalmologist and I thank him so much for his great care and top notch skills to help me with the surgery.
