As always with this physician, I felt rushed -- like he had somewhere else to be. He is pleasant enough, but doesn't take (or have) the time to have a full discussion of my various medical issues. As my GP, he should be 'quarterbacking' my treatment, but doesn't. St. Luke's Primary Physician Group represents to my insurer that this was a 30-45 minute exam (and receives compensation for that amount of time) but instead gives me less than five minutes.

I have no complaints about the doctor but hesitate to rate a 5 since I haven't had any problems that required much action or input.

My primary left her practice in June. I selected a new medical group and a new primary based on his reviews and experience. I had to then wait four+ months for my first appointment as a new patient. Dr. Gendel, his assistant, and the entire St. Luke's staff were excellent and I am very happy to now have this doctor and St.Luke's Physician Group as my provider.

Dr. Gendel is truly the BEST! I selected him because he is board certified in internal medicine and additionally board certified in geriatric medicine. He has referred me to excellent specialists and continues to follow my care journey through regular follow ups. There is no doubt he is amazing in his approach and abilities. I have referred others to him over the years.

At one point In the appointment I had something to share that was important to me. Dr Gendel actually stepped away from the computer and stood facing me, resting back on the counter. I felt I had his complete attention. Amazing provider.
