Dr Artz is wonderful but will be retiring in near future. I will miss him. Unfortunately no word about referral to another neurologist that will replace his practice.

I expected a slightly different direction of care regarding the hydrocephalus. Expected to go over an MRI and talk about the actual functioning of the brain and what could be done to help reduce the water on the brain. Overall, a good appointment. Doctor listened, positive and encouraging regarding brain cognitive issues, and referrals to other places for care and help with driving etc.

Appointment was delayed quite a long time but worth waiting for Dr as he spent a significant amount of time with us.

At least he apologized and acknowledged being late. Other providers are an hour plus behind with not so much as an acknowledgement.

Dr. Artz went out of his way to sub for my scheduled doctor who couldn’t make it at the last minute. He was incredibly thorough and spent so much time with my dad and me, answering all our questions. He was so patient with my dad who has mild dementia and treated him with kindness and compassion. I wish all his doctors could be like this.

The patient has Alzheimer's with a terrible memory, but he has been talking about how much he likes Dr. Artz and mentioning different things from the visit since we were there.

My visits are always informative and pleasant, I even learn a bit more with each visit. Dr Artz is a pleasure to visit. That said, I’ve never really had an unpleasant visit with any of the doctors.

My appt was at 4pm, I left the building at 6 pm when everyone else was gone. Dr Artz definitely took his time, listened to me and explained what was wrong, and mainly, where to go from here. I am very grateful to have a doctor with his background and knowledge. Thank you!

Dr. Artz was thorough, professional, and congenial. The only slight problem was that given my hearing problems, his mask made lip-reading impossible, though I did appreciate his being careful about communicable diseases and he repeated himself when asked.

My diagnosis is upsetting to me. Dr. Artz was kind but factual and clear as to my condition and my care prospects. I appreciated that he spoke with my other provider to compare and confirm testing results in order to give me confidence in my diagnosis and expectations. He is competent and trustworthy which is important to those with a frightening diagnosis.
