Kind and listens. Sits down and takes his time. Is honest and transparent when explaining. I mentioned I was experiencing issues with my other hip, and asked if we could just xray that hip as well and he went ahead and did it. Appreciate that this didn't require another visit or exposure.

Dr. Johnson was very helpful and informative. He listen to my concerns and took what I had I say into consideration while coming up with a plan. He didn't get upset about wanting to delay surgery until I was able to do so. He offered alternatives and was very kind. He let me know all my options and was very direct about what I had to look forward to for recovery.

I went to other medical groups who did not catch on the mri that there was a blob or seroma near my medical incision. My primary care provider made me do physical therapy for 6 to 8 weeks for this issue causing further pain. Dr. Johnson reviewed my MRI carefully unlike others who stated there was nothing wrong.

Dr. Johnson performed my Gluteus Medius tendon surgery very effectively. His physical therapy instructions are helping me improve my health and eventually being able to walk without a walker or cane

I felt very much at ease with Dr. Johnson and appreciated the time he took to hear my story and educate me in lay terms. While a previous surgeon had told me I did not qualify for surgery based on my imaging report, Dr. Johnson took the time to closely review the imaging itself and respectfully disagreed with the imaging report to indicate that I was an appropriate candidate for surgery. He clearly explained next steps, and I am beyond grateful for his thought and care.
