I traveled from about 2 hours away with traffic. To arrive to find out that my appointment had been changed to a date that was 2 weeks away. Someone had called but left a message saying that I had an appointment with a different provider. But never stated that it was canceled. I have never been here before. I also didnt know if that was what they normally do schedule more appointments. The front desk lady figured out a way that I could be seen the same day. She asked the team, and they were able to get me in my original spot that I was supposed to be in. I met the whole care team: Dr Straughn Jr, Nurse Practitioner Bethany, and Clinical Care Coordinator Shay. And the rest of the team. They were all very friendly and answered all of my questions and were very helpful. When we were done, Shay made sure that I got my next appointment scheduled. Overall, very happy with the experience. Sometimes scheduling problems happen. I am not mad about it. We need to give grace in things that we cannot change. I didn't end up waiting very long for the appointment. Everything was the way that it was supposed to go from the phone calls that I had received. I definitely felt that Dr. Straughn and Nurse Practitioner Bethany listened to and answered all the questions that I had. I felt that I was in FANTASTIC hands with them in charge. I felt they only wanted the best for me and were there to recommend what I needed to do next.

I was very nervous prior to my procedure and all the staff were absolutely amazing, upbeat and took total care of me. I was surprised I really didn't have to wait that long. Maybe an hour from start to finish and they didn't make us feel rushed after my procedure either which was very nice. They checked on me often so I didn't feel like I was forgotten about.

The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. The majority of the time they don’t appear rushed. I do get quick replies to portal questions.

I love everything about Dr. Straughn and His Team. They have been kind, friendly, and intentional from day 1. As patient and former healthcare worker that is greatly appreciated.

I waited in the waiting for at least 40 minutes yesterday which made me be very late after seeing the doctor, getting blood drawn labs for Chemo, and then it took the pharmacy 3 hours to send my Chemo medicine up me and it caused me not to get home after 10pm last night especially since we live out state. I was unsatisfied. Also, when my doctor asked if I needed more pain medicine and I say yes it's now the next day at around 1:30-2pm and my medicine has been called in still.

All staff takes their time w/ me - always thorough & always kind. Its very scary situation/diagnosis- everyone goes above & beyond to make you feel at peace. I cldnt ask for a better group of health care professionals. I feel very lucky to be under their care.

Dr Straughn not only offered a follow up to a previous health challenge, but also offered a quick no fuss solution to a new one. And the care team that checked me in gave me a flu shot. I got way more than I was expecting, and a good bit of laughter.
