I am quite sad that Dr. Cantwell is retiring. He has been my provider for nearly 30 years. And in my opinion, he sets the standard by which all other cardiologist should be judged.

Dr. Cantwell really took his time with you at your appointment. He asked questions about my other health issues-even helped with them. He cared what was going on in my life. I had complete trust that he would do the very best as my cardiologist.

Dr. Cantwell has been my Doctor for over 20 years. Always looked forward to my appointments as he was interested in what was happening with my life in addition to my heart health. Wasn’t a subject he couldn’t speak about, especially his beloved Braves!

I have been seeing Dr Cantwell for 36 years! He is the kind of person that you rarely meet - he has a warm heart, a great deal of knowledge about his field, and a curious and brilliant mind. I have a folder at home with all the articles he gave me, many written by him. He is known and loved by so many in this city - and it’s not hard to figure out why. I was in tears knowing he was retiring- I will miss him so much. Thank you, Dr Cantwell for blessing this earth with your goodness. Our hearts are better because of you in so many ways!

Dr. Cantwell has been a stellar MD for me over the past few years. I was referred by Dr. Adrian Douglass because of SVT episode. Dr. Cantwell always spends a good while talking about my specific heart issues. Very positive and practical.

I wish the process going forward: nuclear stress test and a resolution to my atrial fib could go a lot faster . . . Law cases headed to the supreme court seem to move thru the system faster . . .
