A week prior to this visit, I had a health care advocate with me who helped me fill out new patient forms including family history... but the advocate was not allowed past the lobby door. The following week, the advocate (the appointment of this survey) I didn't bring the advocate given the previous experience. The check in desk demanded that I re-completed the new patient forms (that I needed the advocate for). The nurse thought took me back hooked me up for an EKG. I told her, Im just here to review last weeks stress test , which she responded, "you said chest pains, you get an EKG", Then when the NP go into the room she starts to review the new patient forms, that I could not answer correctly, I told her the info was not accurate, that I needed my health care advocate - didn't matter to the NP. Then the NP said "did you even try the treadmill before you took the chemical stressor?" I told her I was 100% treadmill, no chemical. At this point I had lost all confidence in the clinic and told her so. She responded your test results were "great" but I can order more tests if you want, or I could leave. So I left. I came to the clinic open minded, health focused, hoping to learn about my heart risk factors, what I could do to mitigate them and what the stress test indicated.... what I got was repeated, paperwork bureaucracy and then a NP that could not or would not see past my obesity and see me as a patient. Her focus was on her computer screen and her script, not me as a patient. I would not recommend this clinic to people I care about.

My questions were answered which in turned eased my concerns. I saw the nurse practioner who listened to me and was very helpful and was very attentive.

My appt went just fine and the staff was kind. The NP that I had to see instead of the doctor was ok but unable to provide me with any additional information than I already had.
