I gave a very thorough response earlier, but I will repeat that she is the most caring, clear, compassionate doctor I have seen. There is not a single part of the patient encounter that she hasn't mastered. For that I am forever grateful. Dealing with cancer is horrific -- she is a bright, shining light in the midst of that nightmare. Her follow-up with me after two years is a great comfort.

Dr Burgers took the time to listen to me. She drew pictures to explain everything clearly. It was evident she wanted to make sure I understood what she was saying. She has a way of making something bad not sound so bad. Very empathetic. She did not rush my appointment.
