The provider stated that if I continue to take medical cannabis (which was prescribed by my physician and is helping me with my pain) I would not be able to have medication pain management done here. She stated this was based on a decision made 5 years ago due to a lack of studies. I followed up and sent her a study published in JAMA January 2023 showing how this can be beneficial. No response at this time. I felt judged and dismissed about my pain. Not a great experience to say the least.
