Dr. Southard Always makes me feel heard and provides good advice She remembers things about my husband and I that shows she cares about us. I trust her to do the right thing when it comes to our care.

When you see your PCP one time per year, 15 minutes is NOT ENOUGH time. I understand this is a nationwide, insurance and systemic problem and do not blame Dr. Southard or SAMG Emerald.

She is just the best doctor. Always takes all the time needed for my concerns. Checks to make sure I understand any new meds and has great bedside manner. I wouldn’t want any other doctor but Jennifer.

I’m so grateful to have Dr. Southard as my primary care. She never belittles or talks down to you, she listens and offers you options and you never feel like you are under pressure or disregarded.

She answered my questions, checked my heart, talked with me about my test results and made sure I didn’t need any prescription renewals. She also recommended a Covid shot which I got from Olivia.

Dr. Southard is the Best Doctor I ever had. Dr. Southard is kind, compassionate, and listens to what I had to say. The world would be a much better place if there were more people like Dr. Southard around . Dr. Southard cares about her patients and wants them to do better. My experience was excellent in all aspects. I began the appointment feeling somewhat nervous. From the minute they called my name to see Doctor Southard, the nurse was pleasant, even cheerful. She explained what would be happening and asked if I had any questions. I quickly began to feel more calm and Doctor Southard soon arrived in the examination room. I felt that she was glad to see me and to discover exactly how I have been getting along since our last visit. As usual, she was very clear, very interested with just enough humor while being continuously supportive. Her answers to my concerns were totally helpful and I soon felt better. Once again, I appreciated that I had some new solutions to employ.
