Dr. Southard is the Best Doctor I ever had. Dr. Southard is kind, compassionate, and listens to what I had to say. The world would be a much better place if there were more people like Dr. Southard around . Dr. Southard cares about her patients and wants them to do better. What a blessing and an honor that she is my physician! Thank you!

My experience was excellent in all aspects. I began the appointment feeling somewhat nervous. From the minute they called my name to see Doctor Southard, the nurse was pleasant, even cheerful. She explained what would be happening and asked if I had any questions. I quickly began to feel more calm and Doctor Southard soon arrived in the examination room. I felt that she was glad to see me and to discover exactly how I have been getting along since our last visit. As usual, she was very clear, very interested with just enough humor while being continuously supportive. Her answers to my concerns were totally helpful and I soon felt better. Once again, I appreciated that I had some new solutions to employ.

Dr. Southard is an asset to St. Al's and Trinity Health. She is professional, current on evidence-based practice, and an excellent clinician. She is an excellent communicator, establishing a therapeutic relationship with her patients, talking with them eye-to-eye in a manner that distills complex medical terminology into an explanation that a non-medical person can understand. Most importantly, she collaborates with patients on decisions She never rushes an appointment, or dismisses a patient question..
