An excellent doctor and staff. I've been a patient for more than 20 years and Doctor Kallsen and nurse are excellent. I have greatly benefitted from their professional care, expertise, solutions and compassion. Dr. Kallsen is probably the best doctor (in every possible category) that I have had in my 73 years. He is a great listener, non-judgmental, asks great questions to uncover issues, develops excellent solutions and explains them clearly. His personality is so welcoming, pleasant, funny and compassionate, a role model for all medical professionals. I have had the opportunity to recommend him to diabetic friends and a family member. I truly look forward to seeing him on my appointments. And his nurse is so professional, helpful, kind and welcoming. Just a totally excellent team! BJC/St. Luke's can be proud of how they serve their patients in this practice and recognize their excellence.

Dr. Jeffrey Kallsen is one of the best doctors I have ever seen. He took genuine care in my concerns and was thorough in his testing and my care. He knows his stuff and was very patient with me and made me feel like a valued patient, unlike other endocrinologists in the St. Lukes system that I have seen. I highly recommend Dr. Kallsen for Endocrinology care.

Ever since I started going to the Dr. Kelson, I've really enjoyed my experience. I think he's very bright, very knowledgeable, and very courteous, and I would recommend him to anybody. He's the best doctor I have.

I go to several specialists, lab facilities, and have a lot of hospital interaction. I can say by far that Dr. Kallsen is a superb physician that is relatable, knowledgeable, and concerned. Many times I dread going to a doctor because of their lack of PR and condescending spirit, but actually look forward to his visit because he's so encouraging and makes me want to do better with my treatment. And I've become adept at discerning the skills of health care specialists... He listens and cares. This doctor is exceptional.

Dr. Kallsen has the best bedside manner of any physician I’ve ever known. I’ve observed how he interacts with the staff and other patients. He exhumes kindness and respect. He listens well. I respect him and the manner in wish he empowers me to manage my diabetes.

I think that you guys are doing everything right. I have been seeing them for decades and my improvement in my treatment of diabetes is so much better than the people who just let their regular internist deal with it. And I have every confidence in the world in Dr. Colson and I'm sorry that everybody doesn't have the ability to see him. So he's a gem and he's helped me immensely.

Dr. Kallsen and his staff are very good listeners. I think that quality if getting rare and hard to find among doctors. I appreciate that he listens to me and considers my entire situation.

Love the staff-kind and considerate.
Dr. Kallsen is brilliant! Understands and treats each patient as an individual. He explains test results and works hard to bring understanding and compassion to each patient. He is one of the best doctors we have ever worked with (and we have worked with MANY!).

Dr. Kallsen and his staff are the best in the Kansas City area I know and if I could I would have some of my Iowa family members come here just to be treated by his staff, but that would be impractical. Would it be possible to clone this group?

Dr. Kallsen has been my doctor for over 25 years. He’s the best! He is kind, understanding, allows enough time for all my questions, and truly cares about his patients. The same goes for his nurse! All the office staff have always been kind and courteous. I’ve told multiple friends who I see for my diabetes and how I feel about the care I receive. At least three now see him for endocrinology-related issues and all feel the same about their care!

I have been seeing Dr Kallsen for many years. He has always been very informative and professional. Probably the best endocrinologist I have ever had over my 45 years of being a type 1 diabetic.

The staff are all so welcoming and friendly. In my dealings with Dr. Kallsen's Nurse, she is efficient and very professional. And Doc Kallsen? Provides knowledge and excellent feedback when going over the Clarity charts.
