I had seen Dr. Lewis with my daughter years ago. When my son had a gastro ailment, I knew that I wanted him to see Dr. Lewis as well. He is patient, he listens, he answers questions, and is a great guy. He made my son feel comfortable and at ease. I really appreciate him as a doctor and as a person.

Dr. Lewis had great bedside manner and explained all possibilities of what can be ailing my child. He ordered test and even gave us lab order for the next time my child has an episode. He was reactive and proactive which I appreciate. We were both comfortable with the care he provided.

Dr Lewis is always a great listener, and he explains things in detail. He'd listen to what I observe of my son and he'd explain things in detail if I had questions during every visit. Before we started to go to him, my son's former GI doctor recommended us to feed my boy according to his age/growth chart, regardless his metabolism was different from normal kids. My son was extremely chubby and we were worried. Instead of looking at the growth chart, Dr. Lewis looked at my baby, and he gave my son a specific feeding plan that fits him. My son is not on the growth chart but he's growing according to his pace. He's now not as chubby and he's happy. This take the pressure off me and I am not worried about over feeding my son anymore. He has a relaxing personality, and he would always say something comforting during the visits, so I always have a great time in his office. His nurse Angie is also a great person, who would always return my calls in a timely manner. Being a mom for a special child is not easy, but Dr. Lewis and his staff always bring some comfort into our journey.

My daughter suffered for years with constipation, bloating and pain. We tried everything - elimination diets, fiber supplements, stool softeners, even therapy in case it was anxiety related symptoms.
