I prefer in person visits over a phone call. I feel I don't get the same value out of the visit. There's a lot to be said about being "seen" in person vs on a phone call. Even a video call would be better but I would still prefer in person over any impersonal doctor visit. This comment is about the process. I am extremely grateful I have a very experienced doctor taking care of me. 🤩👍

We are so lucky to have Doctor Jason Heckman in our area I was advised to seek treatment by him from friends that he operated on in the past. They were completely correct in their description of his skill.

My daughter and I liked Dr. Heckman immediately. He was very down to earth, funny and explained my situation in terms I could understand. He made sure I understood everything before he ended the interview.

From my very first appointment with Dr Heckman 3 years ago, I felt confident in his ability to perform a robotic Whipple and I appreciate his yearly follow up since. He presents information in an understandable way and addresses any concerns I may have. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Heckman explained my condition with photos, explained them, discussed procedures & ordered a Cat Scan to better see the state of my pancreas. Made me feel comfortable though I was extremely nervous.
