Great outcomes from my decompressive spinal surgery and my eventual spinal fusion surgery. Dr. Brodkey treated me as an individual and with concern for my post surgical quality of life. Now in my 70's I'm still very active including running ultra-marathons and I can do this thanks to Dr. Brodkey's excellent surgical skills and post surgical direction.

He has performed two surgeries on my back and assessed my neck for potential surgery. He always related my conditions to my quality of life concerns. He always frames surgery as a procedure not to be taken lightly. He always suggests exploring non-surgical options first before turning to surgery. Post surgery he follows up periodically to assure post surgical progress.

Dr Brodkey's explanation is not beyond my understanding and he will suggest a treatment and an alternative if available. He is congealable, possibly because I've come to him several times over the years. I trust him.

It was very hard to get an appointment with Doctor Brodkey and unfortunately there was an emergency in the office and my appointment was canceled twice. However, I was able to get in the next week which made me very happy to say the least. I know there's a shortage of doctors so that doesn't help when there's an emergency. I do not blame Dr. BRODKEY for the cancellations.
