Not just this visit, but every vist my kids and myself have had, Jamie has always been kind, clear, and to the point! He always knows what we need to get back to feeling better! I appreciate him always be so honest and caring.

I very much appreciate the prompt and clinically accurate care, especially as I was able to resume working the next day. I am a healthcare provider as well, and losing time to illness is terribly stressful when it happens, so being assisted with a speedy recovery Is a relief.

My only complaint had to do with med issues. I complained of back pain at the clinic, and eventually was given Tylenol. When I was admitted to the hospital later that night, I asked when I could have some more. The nurse was concerned but wanted to go up to moe powerful pain killers. The pain I have comes from lifting something and usually goes away in a day or two. I declined the other pain killers and slept with a rolled towel and was fine. I was not asked about the scale of 1 to 10 pain level and thought, even though he was concerned, this was way too quick to prescribe a harder pain killer. My only other concern was the AC made it a miserable wait in the clinic, and I realize it was colder than normal because of the storms that evening. I do appreciate the hours in the flex care and the care given by all of the staff.

Dr Jaime and his assistant were fabulous. The assistant, or the lady who took my vitals notified me that she was pretty much new but I couldn't tell! She was sweet, swift and all around professional! Dr. Jaime was warm, welcoming and comforting! We both talked about having autistic children in our family and that really hit home for me. For autism parents or family of an autistic child or person, we sometimes feel in the dark or feel as though no one quite understands our struggle, but Dr. Jaime does! I felt more at peace. I haven't had the best experience at RGH in the past, but having my visit with Dr. Jaime and the young lady with him ( I hate I can't remember her name! ) really changed my perspective! If I can be seen by them any time I go, I would be OVER JOYED!

My visit to RGH was excellent start to finish. Checkin was quick and easy - young man was very kind and courteous. Wait time was minimal - especially for a Friday afternoon! Nurse was thorough and very friendly. Jamie Bassell was excellent - thorough and listened to my concerns. Explained my condition in terms I could easily understand. Took his time - I never felt rushed which was refreshing! What stood out the most about my visit to the RGH clinic in Portales was the kindness shown from every person I came in contact with. It was an actual pleasure to visit this clinic despite the pain I was in due to a knee injury. I would highly recommend this clinic as an alternative to the clinics in Clovis which seem overwhelmed with the volume of patients they are caring for. It was honestly the best experience I've had in a medical facility - and at 69 to, I've seen my share of clinics!

The receptionist I spoke with when I called to find out information about the urgent care walk-in clinic, and to see if I could make an appointment, was very nice on the phone, but unfortunately I can not remember her name.

I felt Doctor was very knowledgeable and caught the underlying problem quickly. Then sent me to ER to be tra sferred to Lubbock for surgery. I appreciate his knowledge very much.
