They have all been excellent from start to finish. I especially want to thank Dr. Markert and his team. They corrected my condition and have been so attentive to any questions and concerns I or my spouse have had as I navigate the healing process. Big facility with a big heart. Thank-you.

The nurses in the NICU were fantastic. Felicia ( day shift) and Holly and Christina ( night shift) deserve to be recognized for their professional and extremely caring nursing skills. They made my stay so much better. ❤️

Overall, good experience for a big city environment. Dr. Markert and immediate staff were great. Any issues/conflicts were quickly resolved. This is very important when you have to drive 1.5 hours in traffic just to make appointment. Lighting in some areas needs improvement. Facility was clean in general. Thanks

UAB is the best medical system I've ever been to in my life- BY FAR!
Everyone I encounter there seems to love their job and are happy to help. People answer phones in the departments. Everyone I encounter are professional and are well trained. My physician communicates well, takes time to answer my questions, I never feel rushed, is highly trained with lots of experience and mentors others in the field. I drive 4 1/2 hours to go to UAB each way and everyone there makes it well worth it. UAB is well run and top of the line in medical care and people care.

The facility is very clean, signage is very clear, people were very friendly and helpful. I was seen promptly. Very positive experience. I' a retired Nurse Manager, so I know what to look for and you were perfect.
