This is perhaps a small thing, but it made my day. The appointment was on my birthday, from check-in to check-out they acknowledged that. Every person, the receptionist, the X-ray tech, the medical assistant, the intern, and my doctor, all wished me a happy birthday. The little things are the big things.

Several friends have been and are currently his patients and he more than lived up to everything that was expected. He proved to be very consistent as to what I was told I could expect. He was very honest and straightforward as well as displaying patience and genuine care as he addressed my questions and concerns. I felt like "a patient" and not just "a number." He exemplified how a doctor should be, despite the reality that healthcare is a business. I see several specialists in Virtua and he ranks right at the top. Though being in pain, I was actually looking forward to my appointment because of the many good things I was told about him and he did not disappoint! There are not enough adjectives to describe him.

Dr. Sanfilippo was friendly and knowledgeable. He immediately understood the cause of my shoulder pain and made recommendations for treatment. I felt comfortable with him and confident that his goal was to help me be as pain free as possible. I appreciate the fact that he was about strengthening and not suggesting surgery.

My surgeon, dr. James Sanfilippo remembered me and it has been 10 years since he saw me!!! he is still the best.He told me at the end of my appointment to come back anytime if a problem arises!!! he was the best then and still is today!!!

Dr. [REDACTED] I haven't seen the doctor in over 2 years. She asked about current symptoms, updated medical information, completed physical examination and discussed possible interventions & treatments. Dr. [REDACTED] is always professional, thorough and compassionate. She collaborates with my orthopedic spine surgeon Dr. James SanFilippo. And refers to the latest medical films and reports during the evaluation process.
