Definitely recommend Dr Shim, he is great. The staff that worked that day? Not so much. The other nurses were great though.

He is always very thorough. He listens to you and spends time addressing each problem, explains everything in detail, open to discuss the plans. Always caring and friendly. Never had issues with my orders or prescriptions. The best doctor I can truly respect and trust.

Dr. Shim’s thoughtful and attentive care was very impressive. The staff at the front desk and the other nurses were all very kind as well, which made me feel comfortable and at ease.

I know doctors are pressed for time, so I was very appreciative that he was willing to hear me, have the patience to listen to me advocate for myself because of recent provider trauma I have suffered. However, he noted in my chart that I don't suffer from any back pain when he never asked me about my level of back pain, and I've actually had three spinal surgeries that he knows about, and I have back pain every day all the time to the point that it interferes with my activities. So I need to have those summary notes corrected. And I understand, and he has my empathy for like why it might have gotten overlooked, because I came to him with a ton of questions, and he went over so much else, and was absolutely caring and competent. But like, that was one thing that I noticed, and that I would have wished was more faithfully recorded in my chart. Otherwise, staff is great.

My primary physician demonstrated outstanding expertise and provided thorough, patient-centered consultations. Through proper diagnosis and treatment, the doctor reassured me and gave me peace of mind. Even when prescribing medication, the doctor carefully explained the usage, timing, and procedures in detail. I intend to return for future visits, and above all, I have come to trust your hospital because of the physician's professionalism and knowledge.
