I was in pain and afraid, Dr. McKenna explained everything thoroughly. She told me what my options are and how we will find the best way to help make me feel better. She gave me the cortisone shots at my first appointment —- I didn’t have to exit to come back for another appointment. She explained how long it would take to reach the full effect of the shots —- three days. She informed me that Aleve interacted badly with my Xarelto and explained what the dosages should be when I switched to Tylenol. She was very caring and friendly. She listened to all the things I wanted to tell her about where I hurt and how I had tried to treat myself so far. I feel very confident that she will be able to help me feel better.

My experience with Dr McKenna was excellent! She thoroughly examined me; she explained my condition and gave me a care plan. I found her easy to talk to and explain how I was feeling and my symptoms. I would highly recommend her and others to HSS. Thank you!

Dr. Mckenna is absolutely wonderful and we are going to miss her. She is exceptional in the performance of her medical procedures and an absolute delight to interact with. The ease of conversation is exceptional. We will miss her tremendously. And wish her the best in her new practice.

The third ortho I have been too and she is the only one who explained the xrays, the process and listened to my story and complaints to actually understand what may be wrong

I finally got some relieve from pain and a clear explantion of what is happening. I loved Dr, McKenna, I loved the ease of getting xrays quickly and no waiting and quick results and treatment. I am beyond satisfied

The staff is amazing...every single person was professional, helpful, kind, compassionate, smiling - but your ad on TV talked about coming to HSS for ALTERNATIVES to knee replacement - and there weren't any - just the same ones that every orthopedist offers - cortisone, gel shots and Dr. McKenna mentioned a 3rd using my platelets but didn't feel it would be helpful for me. I was hoping for a break through or clinical trial or something...so that was disappointing, but I walked away with a huge respect for ALL your staff at this facility.

Having been treated in the past in the hospital in NYC and being very pleased with the services rendered there, it was a no brainer to return to HSS now that my orthopedic needs have changed.

Dr. McKenna is top notch. Very professional and personable who solicits a patient's input about their care. I've been happy to have her as part of my medical care team. I'm disappointed she is no longer seeing patients in Westchester County, NY. Her patients going forward are lucky to have her for their care.
