Dr. Hummel, I was a patient at Corewell Health when he was practicing there, and when he moved to Trinity Health Lacks Cancer Center, I made the decision to transfer my care so I could continue under his care. When you have the best on your team, you want to make sure you continue to have the best. Having Dr. Hummel as part of my care team gives me a sense of safety, confidence, and peace of mind, knowing that I am in the hands of someone who genuinely cares about his patients and will always look out for my best interests. His knowledge, compassion, and dedication to his patients are truly appreciated, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have him as my doctor.

Dr. Hummel was very professional and took a personal interest as well. I would say well-rounded with a good “bed-side manner”. He is excellent in his explanations and drawings to explain what took place during surgery, what was happening before surgery and what to expect after.
