Listen to your patients when they are trying to give you their medical and physical history. Don't cut them off and jump right into their pain.

The front desk and xray team couldn't have been better. And Dr Hughes is worth waiting for! He has done work on me before and if I have my druthers - I will always opt for him and his team!

Having Dr. Hughes so extraordinary!!!! My husband and I are blessed. Through out the years sought out what needed to be done and let us live a full life. Thank you 🙏🏼

What could have been done to improve your experience?
Physician asking patient if there were any other concerns or areas to talk about. When physician is done he is done hand on the doorknob leaving the room. Initial time spent good but negated from MD agenda.

I was very impressed with Dr Michael Hughes and his team that all did a great job during my office visit. Kudos to staff and of course Dr Hughes ! It’s a great team!

Dr. Hughes was incredibly kind, sympathetic to my pain, very informative of my options and very personable. He listened and gave me options that would work for me. I truly appreciated the incredible service & kindness of the entire office. Will definitely recommend to others!

What could have been done to improve your experience?
The doctor was very kind and polite, but I did feel very rushed and felt like he did not listen at all to me and what I had to say. He talked almost the entire time and didn’t give me a chance to explain myself and what I was going through. When I tried to talk he talked over me and changed the topic to something else. I actually was quite tearful by the time I got to my vehicle and called my husband because I have been battling this discomfort for seven months now and was really wanting to just be listened to and I did not feel like the doctor listened to me whatsoever. I had seen reviews online for this doctor with people stating, “He talks a lot and talks over you.” I thought I would give him a chance, but I see what those reviews mean. He barely let me explain the pain I’ve been having and how it affects my daily life as a wife with three small children. I was pretty let down. He did however have a good game plan to have a MRI done which I was happy with. I wanted to speak more.

Doctor needs to work on listening skills and not asking questions and then when you are trying to answer talking over you. Can tell he is in a hurry to make next appointment and get you in and out as fast as possible.

I love that Dr. Hughes allows you to be involved in the process of deciding about the different layers of your treatment. He provides enough information that allows you to make informed and intelligent decisions about the next steps that might be needed. He also takes care to ask personal questions so as to make you feel as though you have a personal yet professional relationship with him. I would easily feel comfortable referring others to him for treatment.
