Dr. Hughes arrived at the visit prepared. He had already reviewed the imaging and was ready to discuss next steps, including already printed material on a recommended course of treatment.

Was there anything that you feel was outstanding?
I always enjoy my visits with Dr Hughes even though I’m there to get injections. One thing I have been impressed about Dr Hughes is that he keeps up with my travels. If I say that I’m going to Mexico in 2 months, when I see him in three months he asks about travel to Mexico. He either has a great memory or takes the time to make a note to discuss. It’s a great technique as it rather distracts me from his procedures to administer the injection.

Dr. Hughes rembered about a trip we have planned which surprised me but was nice and made the visit personable. I like that...friendly!

Dr Hughes is fantastic!! My experiences with many doctors over the years is usually competent but I leave feeling I am bothering them WHAT!! I feel completely comfortable with Dr Hughes

Dr Michael Hughes first statement was “my sympathies on the passing of your husband”. He saw my pcp’s notes in My Chart about my grief processes for my husband’s death! Dr. Hughes is so compassionate and empathetic. He told me he would pray for me which I haven’t heard any physician tell me. That was so thoughtful and I really appreciated it! His care is exceptional and very though! He explains my care plan very well!! I will always go to Dr Hughes for any Ortho issues he treats!
