Dr. Hughes and his staff was amazing. Dr. Hughes related his same injury as I did. It was terrific and I have full confidence in his care and I thank him very much for being an amazing physician. Thank you.

Dr Hughes and staff are always professional and courteous. Dr Hughes spends as much time needed to answer all questions and offers options as to the best way forward to treat my torn rotators. Always have a positive experience when visiting the Ortho clinic.

Dr. Hughes is absolutely amazing. He clearly explains the test results from the x-ray. He explains treatment options and follow up time-line. He is magic with his gel injections! I feel like a kid again!! He has a wonderful sense of humor!! Thank you Dr. Hughes!!

What else would you like to say about your experience?
Yes, I believe that the facility was very good. I believe that Dr. Michael Hughes was very knowledgeable, but I did feel somewhat rushed. I did feel like I was not given a lot of time and I felt rushed through the procedure and I didn't feel like I got very good follow-up what to do after my cortisone shot. I had to call back today to find out exactly when I was supposed to come back and what I need to do after I go home. But I found him knowledgeable. I found him likable, but I do wish that he would have spent more time with me.

Dr. Hughes and the staff explained things about my upcoming surgery and asked me questions . As well as I asked them questions.

Dr. Hughes is a rock star. He has a great bedside manner. He chatted briefly with me about my dog and hobbies. He was very knowledgeable and thorough in his explanations. He gave me hope explaining all my treatment options. I couldn’t be more pleased with my treatment.

Dr Hughes and his staff took great care of me before and after my surgery with each visit. Dr Hughes and his staff listened to me, and answered my questions in a way that I could understand.

Dr Hughes is a wonderful doctor, I’m 95 years old and get cortisone shots in my knee and shoulder. He is always very pleasant, professional, and especially personable. I highly recommend him.

This was a needed reset for me at the BJC Shiloh location. This visit was exceptional.
From the moment I arrived the care, regard, and treatment was top of the line. The front office staff was helpful and kind, the doctors assistant was outstanding, and the doctor was amazing. I got more care that I expected and I’d definitely return and recommend them.

The process was efficient. By the time I was in a room and Doctor came in.. he already had the ex-rays and plan of progress. I arrived 15 minutes early as requested and was in my car 45 minutes after my arrival. The process is smooth and good for people with a job. This was a great experience. Perhaps other BJC Drs should take notes.

Dr. Hughes went above and beyond in treating me for a fall I had. Had me get an xray, showed me the results with an easy to understand explanation and then provided me with a wrist brace. Put the brace on. I was very appreciative of all he did.
