I always feel seen. Its one thing to know your doc & staff "hear" you... but its quite another to feel understood. I actually look fwds to going to the doc.

Dr. Houchens is very friendly and considerate. She takes time to talk to me even about non-medical things. I always feel comfortable talking to her and she never has made me feel badly when my labs aren’t great, for example. She is always very encouraging, suggesting solutions, but without pressuring me.

Dr. Houchens is very "normal." She makes you feel comfortable and acts like a friend. She is easy to talk to and just has a great bedside manner. I trust her and she wants me to help make the decisions for my health care. She doesn't just throw a pill at me. We discuss things and I have input. She is FANTASTIC!!
