I have an upcoming surgery I was concerned about the plan for, and I was seeking an urgent hematology visit. Every other organization was dismissive, but Trinity got me in within a week so that I could talk with a provider before my surgery.I saw Dr. Stephanie Hoffman, one of the most kind, thorough, and skilled providers I have ever worked with (I have had 40+ providers for my many health issues). She took the time to review my complex chart with care prior to my visit, and I didn't have to spend significant time and energy catching her up as I usually do with new providers.As a patient who has experienced significant medical trauma, I found Dr. Hoffman to be highly personable, caring, and attentive. She was thoughtful in her approach, listened to my concerns, and provided validation and reassurance that has helped me feel comfortable moving forward with surgery (I had not felt comfortable before this visit). She has certainly bolstered my trust in the medical system; prior to this visit, I was feeling highly afraid, overwhelmed, and on the defensive in medical environments because my concerns have so often been flippantly dismissed. Dr. Hoffman not only went above and beyond in terms of my medical care, but the impact of this visit has restored some of my trust that there are good providers available and my willingness to advocate for myself and seek care in future.

Dr Hoffman brought her chair near me and wrote out all the possibilities that my condition could be caused from. She explained each one in detail. She also asked me a lot of questions about myself. She was very thorough.

Seems very knowlegable. She is personable and very kind. I was worried when Dr. Beckerman left, but Dr. Hoffman is the best also. I couldn't have asked for a better doctor.
