There's never a best part to going to a doctors appointments. But the fact that I'm never there over 2.5 to 3.0 hours is a plus. Or if I get good news regarding my visit.

I have had 2 failed full knee replacement and for 4 years I was told give it time. After my surgery at Highlands orthopedic UAB I knew when I took my first steps My knee had been fixed.

Take time with the patient and don't assume that they will be able to communicate or receive instructions as is now routine. As with me I am likely to miss referral info because staff won't resort to communication means that I am able to do.

Didn’t have to wait. Everyone very prompt and friendly. Cared that I was taken care of and listened to me. I was in and out within an hour which included me having X-rays. That’s caring.
